We’re celebrating our 30th birthday, but we need your help!

Here at Young Writers we’re excited to be celebrating our 30th birthday this year, but we need some help from you...

Since 1991, we’ve helped publish over 3 million stories and poems from young writers around the country. Our main goal is to promote and nurture creative writing and poetry skills in children across the globe. To share this love we’ve offered free resources, tips, lesson plans, and competitions to allow children and young adults to develop their abilities and become published authors.

We'd love you to help us show the world the amazing work we receive and the impact this has on young writers in the UK. Our passion for literature has helped instill a love of writing in countless budding authors, but we want to know what Young Writers means to you.

To be a part of our birthday celebrations, we're asking for videos telling us why you love young writers. Videos should be shorter than 20 seconds, and make sure to film them horizontally (landscape) so we can show off your beautiful faces best. The video can be from a child, parent, teacher, or anyone who loves Young Writers!

Send your videos to [email protected] by the 16th of April.

We'll include as many of your videos as we can, and we can’t wait to see them!!!
