Acrostic Poetry Competition for 5-7 year-olds
Teach your pupils how to write an acrostic poem with this fun competition which will inspire and engage your class.
Introduce your pupils to the fun and imaginative world of poetry with Little Dreamers. The acrostic poem is easy to teach and even easier to learn, so you'll have a classroom full of confident little poets in no time!There are more free resources available to download including:

There are fantastic prizes up for grabs too! Every entrant will receive a bookmark and sticker, pupils chosen for publication gets a certificate of merit and our favourite 5 poets will win a creative goody bag! The school with the best set of entries will win £1,000 and the school runner-up receives a huge poetry book bundle for their library.
Little Dreamers is designed to boost pupils' writing and vocabulary skills, helping them to develop into confident, skilful writers. So request as many entry forms as you need today and we'll post them out to you free of charge so you can get your whole class involved.
